Other Content

Along with the main story by Busiek & Pérez four classic Avengers stories were reprinted in this issue. In addition to "Five Dooms" the following stories were collected: "Avengers Assemble!" from Avengers (1963) #150 (Aug. 1976) by Steve Englehart and Stan Lee with art by George Pérez, Jack Kirby, and Dick Ayers; "At Last: The Decision!" from Avengers (1963) #151 (September 1976) by Gerry Conway, Steve Englehart, and Jim Shooter with art by George Pérez and John Tartaglione; and "The Day The Strangers Came" from Avengers Annual #19 (July 1990) by Kurt Busiek and Richard Howell. All three of these stories dealt with the announcement of new Avengers team line-ups, as did the main story in this issue.
